THINGS TO TEACH

Older people normally teach younger people, but this can be different.

So, the staetment "young people can't teach older people" isn't true, personally don't agree with it.

Despite old people have more experience, because they're older, young people have more command of the Internet and the actual technology so that we have to help them since they make the same with us.

On the other hand they're more vulnerable to be fooled by anybody. A lot of banks and companies try to fool them, with the purpose of make money.

Therefore, we must help them or they will be fooled by banks.

In conclusion, young people have a lot of things to teach, like technology or the economycal system.

They can teach us, but we can also teach them.

The two parts have a lot of things to teach and learn.  

Composition 5: DEFINITIONS

DEFINITIONS:

A BORING FRIEND à a boring friend is someone who is never interested in doing things. He never wants to do anything with his friends.

Ex: Last week, I wanted to go out and do things, I come to my friend’s house but he wanted to stay at home. I got angry with him because he always stays at home and he never wants to go to party.

AN EXCITING MOMENTà an exciting moment is that moment when you’re happy, when you’ve done something good, everyone congratulates you and you feel proud of yourself.

Ex: Yesterday I did a competition; it was an exciting moment, because I did well and everyone congratulated me, it was great.

AN INTERESTING FILMà is a film which has action and you like it. That film has a good story and you watch with attention.

Ex: Last month we went to see the went to see the film “Ocho apellidos Vascos” and it was an interesting film with an argument that globs you… for a movie to see, very nice and good actors…

A WORRYING SITUATIONà a worrying situation is when you don’t know what to do, when you don’t know how to react or how to fix things. A situation that you care for all and stop thinking about it.

Ex: This morning my mother told me that my aunt was in hospital. I didn’t know how to react, I become very sad and I put in a worrying situation… she wanted to recover quickly!

AN ANNOYING CLASSMATEà an annoying classmate is a person who interrupts in class and doesn’t allow me to concentrate.

FINISH THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES:

I GET ANNOYED when people distract me in class.

I FEEL EMBARASSED when my father presented to people and tells stories of when I was little.

I AM SHOCKED when something has anyone thought possible, and then I’m satisfied with myself.

I FEEL RELAXED when I walk my dog, it’s very good for turn off and think about everything.

I’M INTERESTED IN PEOPLE who are sociable and good person.

Composition 4 in Class: THE HISTORY OF LACOSTE

THE HISTORY OF LACOSTE

La chemise Lacoste was founded in 1933 bu René Lacoste and André Giller.

At first, the company only produced the tennis shirt Lacoste. The logo was a tennis shirt was a crocodrile. Morover the company produced shirts for golf ans sailing. The company created the basic color shirts in 1951; for this purpose, in 1952, the shirts were exported to the United States.

In 1963 the company underwent a big growth, because Bernard Lacoste. Took the managements of the company, so it reached its herght of popularity during the late 1970s. The company introduced other products into the line, like perfums, shorts...

In 2005 the company was transfered to Michel Lacoste. In 2006 Bernard died. That year were sold almost 50 millions Lacoste. 

The last product of the company is a home line of sheeting and towels.

COMPOSITION 3: ARE YOU FOR OR AGAINST USING ANIMALS FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH?

ARE YOU FOR OR AGAINST USING ANIMALS FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH?

At the moment, it is legal using animals for medical research, although some people are against it.

On one hand, this research could help to find other treatments for disease. Scientists use these investigations with animals in order don’t use people.

On the other hand, is very unfair for animals. Some people think it is not correct as it might found with other methods.

All in all, I am not in favour of this research. In my opinion, scientists should find other methods to do medical research because it’s unfair to use animals in the laboratory.

A CHILDHOOD MEMORY

I remember when I was a child I went to Galícia for a week with my parents, my brother and their friends.

What I remember is a warm day that we went to the river where we swam for an haur. Then we saw a bridge and we climbed up until there and we jumped into the water. It was very dangerous but very funny.

My mother didn’t want me to jump but my father let me do it.

I was seven years old and I remember little things from that trip but this experience was the best moment of those seven days.

MY BROTHER

My brother’s name is Martí. He is nine years old and he is studying in primary school in Cornellà del Terri.

Martí is tall and his skin is pale. He has got brown eyes, he has got small nose and he usually has red cheeks. Also he has got short, straight and black hair. He wears glasses and he always has a big smile in his face.

My brother is very active he always need to do something and he is never tired. At home sometimes he can be selfish with his things but at the same time he can be very funny.

My brother plays football in the same village and he has a lot of friends.
